Treating TGA

TGA is certainly different than cancer or a heart attack. It hasn’t ended anyone’s life. It doesn't involve chemo treatment or transplant. There usually are no return trips to the hospital for further treatments.

Simply put.....

There is nothing to treat,

Nothing to replace,

No pills to take,

No change of diet, or

Exercises to do.

We are:

Seen,

Examined,

Tested,

Scanned,

Poked,

Monitored,

Hooked up, and

Probed.

We are advised it usually:

Never happens again,

Won't affect our lives,

Isn't the beginning of Alzheimer's, and

Won't affect our children.

However; there are some issues we still face:

It may have change your outlook or behaviors,

It may cause anxiety or make you depressed,

It may make you forgetful,

You may shy away from crowds,

Dislike loud music,

Shun bright lights, and

Drift into a foggy place occasionally.
